There are several ways a teacher can contribute to achieving SDG 4, which aims to "ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all."

Some of these include:
Providing quality instruction: By delivering high-quality instruction that is tailored to the diverse needs of their students, teachers can help to close the achievement gap and improve student outcomes.
Promoting inclusion and diversity: Teachers can create a positive classroom environment that is inclusive and respectful of all students' backgrounds and cultures, and that fosters mutual understanding and cooperation.
Encouraging lifelong learning: Teachers can help students develop a love of learning and a desire to continue learning throughout their lives by making their lessons engaging, interactive, and relevant to students' interests and future goals.
Using technology: Teachers can use technology as a tool to enhance teaching and learning, providing students with access to a wide range of resources and opportunities for collaboration and communication.
Providing opportunities for student voice and agency: Teachers can empower students to take ownership of their learning by involving them in the planning and decision-making process, and giving them opportunities to lead and participate in class activities.
Collaborating with families and communities: Teachers can build strong partnerships with families and communities to provide students with the support they need to be successful in school and beyond.
Continuously improving their practice: Teachers can engage in ongoing professional development and self-reflection to continuously improve their practice and stay current with research-based teaching strategies and best practices.
By implementing these actions, teachers can make an important contribution to achieving SDG 4 and creating an inclusive and equitable education system that provides all students with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in life.
