About
After Darüşşafaka High School, I graduated from Marmara University English Language Teaching Department in 1998. In addition to my duties as English Teacher and Head of Foreign Languages Department at two leading private schools in Turkey for 11 years, I also served as an adviser to Model United Nations High School and Secondary School (MUN, JMUN) teams.
As someone whose life was transformed by entering Darüşşafaka, with to the vision and leadership of my teacher and school principal, I focused my professional passion on the field of teacher development. I believe I am a great example of how access to quality education transforms a girl's life.
I continued my professional journey at the Teachers Academy Foundation in 2009 as an active member of the leading team for “Teacher Has No Limits” Project as a Senior Trainer. I designed and led the dissemination of the Foundation's trainings held in 81 provinces and the training of trainers. In addition, between 2010 and 2012, I designed online courses on topics such as Motivation Management and Learning Flow, and acted as a consultant for these courses.
In 2019, I was nominated for the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) program of the US Department of State and was the only person from Turkey to participate in the "Leadership in the Digital Age" program.
I completed my MBA at Koç University in 2021, and I am a voluntary member of the TÜSİAD Education Study Group, TEGEP Board of Directors and the Advisory Board of the Corporate Social Responsibility Association of Turkey.
I have been working as the Acting General Manager as of February 2022, after serving as the Education Director at the Teachers Academy Foundation for the last 7 years.
